It’s only Week 4 but there are already some games that could have huge playoff implications. Vote for The Herald’s Game of the Week below:
Meadowdale vs. Glacier Peak Veterans Memorial Stadium, 7 p.m.
Meadowdale and Glacier Peak are arguably the two front runners in a difficult Wesco 3A South. The Grizzlies come into the game undefeated while Meadowdale’s lone loss is to Lake Stevens, a ranked 4A team.
King’s vs. Lakewood Lakewood H.S., 7 p.m.
Last year this game decided the Cascade Conference title and this year it could do the same. The Cougars are the defending league champion, but King’s, which like Lakewood played a tough nonleague schedule, is eager to knock off Lakewood.
Jackson vs. Monroe Monroe H.S., 7 p.m.
This game features two of the biggest surprises so far this season, with Monroe getting off to a 3-0 start while Jackson has struggled to a 1-2 beginning. Jackson has beat Monroe the last three times the two teams played, including twice in 2012.
