$20M grant for Port of Seattle container terminal
SEATTLE — Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx is in Seattle Monday to highlight a $20 million grant for the Port of Seattle.
Sen. Patty Murray’s office says the money will modernize Terminal 46, a container terminal critical to Washington exports.
The funding is known as a Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant or TIGER grant for short.
