PORT ANGELES — A Clallam County sheriff’s spokesman says a 65-year-old Joyce, Washington, woman found dead in her home in a recreational vehicle park is a homicide victim. Detectives are looking for a male acquaintance they call a person of interest.
Chief Criminal Deputy Ron Cameron says the body of Diane Cunningham was found Monday when her daughter came to check on her. The investigation indicates she likely died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Detectives later learned that a hunter had found the woman’s missing car in a remote area of Malheur County, Oregon, near the Idaho border.
