EDMONDS — If you live in Woodway or Edmonds and own art by Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, Guy Anderson, Helmi Juvonen and/or Kenneth Callahan, then Edmonds arts commissioner Marni Muir is asking for your help.
Muir has sent out a call for the loan of paintings by these famous Northwest artists for an exhibit set for Nov. 3 through Dec. 12 at the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation Museum.
The arts festival foundation, the Edmonds Bookshop and the arts commission are sponsoring a special show of work by these artists, who at some point lived and worked in Edmonds or Woodway.
The hope is that people will step forward to allow their pieces to be exhibited.
Only a few pieces of each artist will be selected and all donors will be acknowledged, Muir said.
For more information about submissions, contact Muir, the curator, at marnimuir62@gmail,com or 425-697-0232.
