As expected the Seahawks will be playing without center Max Unger, who is out with a foot injury. He was listed as doubtful on Friday’s injury report, and indeed is inactive, which means Stephen Schilling, a Bellevue High product, will make his first NFL start at center, and his first start at any position since 2011, when he started two games at guard for San Diego.
The good news for Seattle is that Kam Chancellor, who was questionable with a hip injury, is active. Chancellor, who didn’t practice Thursday or Friday, looked to be moving well during pregame warm-ups.
Also of note, rookie receiver Paul Richardson is inactive for the first time. Tackle Alvin Bailey, who missed last week’s game with an oblique injury and was listed as doubtful, is active. In addition to being Russell Okung’s backup at left tackle, Bailey could see playing time as a sixth O-lineman/big tight end at times today if the Seahawks are looking for blocking help.
The most notable inactive for Dallas is starting linebacker Bruce Carter, who is out with a thigh injury. Linebacker Rolando McClain, who was questionable with a groin injury, is active for the Cowboys.
Seahawks inactives: WR Paul Richardson, CB Tharold Simon, RB Christine Michael, C Max Unger, T Andrew McDonald, WR Kevin Norwood, TE Zach Miller.
Cowboys inactives: QB Dustin Vaughan, S Jakar Hamilton, LB Bruce Carter, DE Jack Crawford, DT Davon Coleman, NT Ken Bishop, T Donald Hawkins.
