SPOKANE — Cooper Elementary School in Spokane recently received a shed for its community garden as part of a grant to teach students where food comes from.
Early Wednesday, someone stole the shed.
KHQ-TV reported that the shed was taken apart and removed.
A neighbor reported seeing a man walking around the garden. Police and school security arrived about 2:30 a.m. and found the shed had been taken apart. They came back about 5:30 a.m. and found that whoever had taken it apart returned and took the pieces away.
