MARYSVILLE — A balanced Arlington scoring attack, led by a game-high 20 points from Nathan Aune, helped lead the Eagles to a 59-54 victory over Marysville Getchell in a Wesco 3A North matchup.
Joining Aune in double figures were Donaven Sellgren with 15 and Drew Bryson with 13.
The Eagles used a 22-12 first quarter to take an early lead but the Chargers chipped away, eventually taking a five point lead with two minutes remaining.
But the Eagles connected on three straight 3-pointers, two from Bryson and one from Tylor Morton, to quickly turn their deficit into a four point lead entering the final period.
Collin Montez scored 14 points, Anthony Whitaker-Banks scored 11 and Deyon Robertson added 10 for the Chargers.
