RE/MAX opens Marysville office
RE/MAX Associate Brokers has opened its third location and added a new managing broker, Rich Jones. The newest RE/MAX Associate Brokers office is in Marysville at 922 State St. Other locations are in Stanwood and Camano Island. Jones is a top producing agent and a native of the Marysville area. He began his real estate career in 2001.
Snohomish Education Foundation hires new director
The Snohomish Education Foundation has hired Sherri Williams to be its new director. She began work on Jan. 12. Williams previously worked for Columbia Bank and First Heritage Bank, both located in Snohomish. She has been very involved in a number of nonprofit boards, foundations and community programs throughout Snohomish County over the past three decades.
Financial advisers to appear on radio show
KSER 90.7 FM and KXIR 89.9 FM’s monthly personal finance show, Getting Your Dough To Rise hosted by Chuck Noel, welcomes Doug Gordon of Russell Investments, Matt Rudolf of Summit Capital Management and Robert Krughoff of Puget Sound Consumers’ Checkbook. The program runs from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
New Xfinity store opens in Everett
Last week, Comcast opened the ninth official Xfinity Store in Washington at 7725 Evergreen Way in Everett. The new, interactive center allows customers to explore, learn, and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services. The store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
Underwriters purchase Alder BioPharmaceuticals stock
Alder BioPharmaceuticals in Bothell, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, announced that the underwriters of its previously announced public offering of common stock have exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 900,000 shares of common stock. The closing of the option exercise occurred Jan. 22. Gross proceeds from the offering were approximately $203.6 million.
