Reel World Cinema Series: First Presbyterian Church of Everett, 3629 Rockefeller Ave., Everett, continues its series. “The Long Night”: Photojournalist Tim Matsui’s award-winning documentary depicts how runaway or neglected kids are coerced and manipulated into joining the sex trafficking industry. Everett Public Library will host a showing of the film and a discussion at 2 p.m. April 9 in the library’s auditorium, 2702 Hoyt, Everett. The film won first place in the National Press Photographers Association’s 2015 Best of Photojournalism Media contest, won a World Press Photo’s First Prize for Long Feature, and was named Documentary Project of the Year by Pictures of the Year International.
