The Woman’s Book Club of Everett invites the public to its free program in the library auditorium, at Hoyt and Everett avenues. Sanelli will talk about her new book, “A Woman Writing,” and about the joys, humor and heartbreaks of the writing life.

7 p.m. March 14, Third Place Books

“Eruption: The Untold Story of Mount St. Helens” is Olsen’s story of the volcano, with a little bit of science, a little bit of history and a heavy dose of human interest. This book will appeal to fans of Daniel Brown’s “Boys In the Boat.” The store is located at 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park.

5 p.m. March 16, Barnes &Noble

Yee plans to sign and talk about her book, “Wonder Woman at Super Hero High.” The store is at 19401 Alderwood Mall Pkwy., Lynnwood.

J.A. Jance

7 p.m. March 16, University Book Store

In bestselling author J.A. Jance’s latest thriller, “Clawback,” Ali Reynolds faces her most controversial mystery yet, solving the murder of a man whose Ponzi scheme bankrupted hundreds of people, and left them seeking justice or revenge. The store is located at 15311 Main St., Mill Creek.

Jance also is signing books at 7 p.m. March 17 at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park and at noon March 26 at Coscto, 10200 19th Ave. SE, Everett.

Noon March 26, Edmonds Bookshop

The Whatcom County author will read from and sign copies of his new book, “Bucolia: Hijinx in the Hinterlands,” at the bookstore, 111 Fifth Ave. The book is illustrated by artist Ellen Clark. In a humorous and heartfelt way, “Bucolia” narrates Matthew’s bewildered attempts to adjust to living in the country.

7:30 p.m. April 9, Everett Performing Arts Center

Roach is the author of New York Times bestsellers “Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal,” “Packing For Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void,” “Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers,” “Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex” and “Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife.” Her 2009 TED talk made the organization’s 2011 Most-Watched List.
