EVERETT — A man was shot Wednesday evening in the 900 block of W. Casino Road in south Everett.
The Everett Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit remained on scene late Wednesday and few details had been confirmed as of 10:30 p.m.
The shooting was reported just before 8 p.m., officer Aaron Snell said. Medics rushed the man to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
His age and the extent of his injuries werent’ immediately made public. There also was no suspect information, Snell said.
Witnesses reported seeing a car speed off from the scene minutes after the gunfire. In connection with the case, a car was pulled over a short time later in Mill Creek and people were detained.
However, it was determined that the car that was pulled over didn’t appear to be associated with the shooting, Snell said.
Detectives continue to investigate.
