County exec to give State of the County speech

Snohomish County Executive John Lovick will offer an update on the County at an Economic Alliance Snohomish County event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Feb. 25. As this event has sold out quickly in the past, it will be held in Xfinity Arena at 2000 Hewitt Ave. in Everett to accommodate more people. For details go to www.economicalliancesc.org.

Everett Public Schools Foundation’s 21st Annual Benefit Breakfast is scheduled for 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. on March 4 in the Hansen Conference Center at the Xfinity Arena in Everett. Edmonds Rotary holding annual auction

Edmonds Daybreaker’s Rotary Club will hold its 2015 Experience Auction: Experience Washington on March 14 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Auction experiences include private flights to the San Juans, exclusive tours of local wineries, weekend getaways in the mountains, downtown Seattle adventures and more. The Northwest Clean Air Agency has posted a short, unscientific survey on several web pages to find out how the public feels about who they are and what they do, and to learn about the public’s interest in a variety of air quality issues.
