BELLINGHAM — Squalicum’s Damek Mitchell led all scorers with 21 points in the Storm’s victory over Cedarcrest in the opening round of the 2A district 1 boys basketball tournament on Friday.
Robert Cha led the Red Wolves with 13 points. Cedarcrest will play Sedro-Woolley in a loser-out game at 4 p.m. on Monday. Squalicum will face Lynden in the semifinals at 8 p.m. that same day. Both games are at Mount Vernon.
