TACOMA — Police in Tacoma say a man has been arrested for investigation of first-degree murder in the stabbing death of a 19-year-old man whose body was found in a Tacoma ravine earlier this week.
The News Tribune reported that police spokeswoman Loretta Cool offered no details about Friday’s arrest. The man is expected in court next week.
The remains of Jesus Isidor-Mendoza were found Monday in a wooded area that police say is frequented by transients.
He was last seen Oct. 22 leaving his mother’s home to attend a class at Pierce College.
The Pierce County medical examiner’s office says he died of a stab wound to the neck.
