SEATTLE — Kelsey Plum scored 27 points and Washington pulled away from USC in the second half to post a 60-48 Pac-12 victory Thursday night.
The Women of Troy led by one at the break, 25-24, but Plum led a second-half surge by the Huskies, scoring 17 points, including hitting 5 of 6 from the free throw line in the final 1:48.
The win keeps Washington (21-8, 10-7) in fifth place in the Pac-12 Conference.
Talia Walton and Jazmine Davis each scored 11 points for Washington, which shot 22 of 53 from the field (41.5 percent), including 3 of 12 from deep, and was 13 of 19 from the free throw line.
Kaneisha Horn had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead USC (15-13, 7-10). Jordan Adams added 10 points and grabbed nine boards.
