Notes: Everett has big problems on the blue line. Kevin Davis was already out with an upper-body injury. This morning Ben Betker was given a one-game suspension by the league for his checking-to-the-head major penalty in Friday’s 7-2 victory over Calgary. Then Tristen Pfeifer was ruled out, also because of an upper-body injury. That’s three of Everett’s top five. Therefore, the Tips play a skater short and dress just four defensemen, with winger Dawson Leedahl slated to help fill the void. The lines adjust accordingly for Leedahl’s absence.
