Recently I wrote a letter about having our Seahawks flag stolen. The day my letter appeared in your paper, I received a knock on my door and a very nice gentleman said he read my letter and wanted me to have a new flag.
I was so shocked and I forgot to get his name. I shared the news with my two granddaughters and they echo my response to such a kind gesture to strangers: Awesome. I confess I shed a few tears of joy that day.
Thanks again to the person for taking the time and money to make two old Seahawks fans happy.
This world needs more people like him.
During football season I will display my flag proudly, and watch it closely.
Thanks again.
