Dinosaur Day: Dino activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 7, Burke Museum on the University of Washington campus, at the corner of NE 45th St. and 17th Ave. NE., Seattle. Crack the prehistoric case to discover what we can find out about dinosaurs through their poop, teeth, bones and more. Talk to Burke paleontologists about their latest find, 10-foot legs of the duck-billed dino Edmontosaurus. Ever wondered if a Tyrannosaurus could really outrun a jeep or if a Velociraptor could turn a doorknob? Included in regular museum admission: adults $10; seniors $8; students and ages 5 and older $7.50. Free for ages 4 and under. There will be a free talk at 7 p.m. March 7 with Dr. Mary Schweitzer, whose discoveries about dinosaur tissues, blood and DNA expanded understanding of what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur. Star Wars and The Power of Costume: A behind-the-scenes look at some of the most iconic costumes in film history.
