EVERETT — An out building was heavily damaged by fire Saturday night in South Everett.
Everett firefighters were sent to the blaze in the 10200 block of First Drive Southeast at 10:22 p.m.
They arrived to find flames and smoke coming out of the out building, which appeared to be used as a workshop, according to a news release from the Everett Fire Department.
The building was empty. Firefighters attacked the flames from the outside, then moved into the structure to put out the fire.
The structure was extensively damaged, and the cause is under investigation, as is standard procedure, according to the department.
