In honor of women’s history month, Frontier Communications recognizes its own female leadership: CEO Maggie Wilderotter, west region president Melinda White, vice president and general manager for Washington Vicky Oxley and Tressa Bader, vice president and general manager for California. Nearly 5,920 women work for Frontier Communications from coast to coast.

Revenue recognized for training its employees

The Federation of Tax Administrators named the Washington State Department of Revenue winner of the 2015 Award for Training. The award is given to agencies that demonstrate excellence in training their employees and who serve as an example for other agencies to use in developing their own training. This is the 15th such award Revenue has earned in the last decade.

EvCC hosts college planning ‘Family Night in Spanish’

Everett Community College is hosting a college planning Family Night in Spanish for high school students and their families at 6 p.m. on April 8 at EvCC’s Henry M. Jackson Conference Center. ‘Art of Liqueurs’ workshop planned in Snohomish

A two-day workshop on The Art of Liqueurs is scheduled for 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. on April 23 and 24 at Skip Rock Distillery, 104 Ave. C, Snohomish. Health &Fitness Expo planned in Edmonds

The third Annual Health &Fitness Expo is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 16 at the Edmonds School District Stadium located at 7600 212th St. SW. Volunteers sought for Sustainamania event

City of Bothell Public Works Department is seeking volunteers to staff booths and vendors to showcase sustainably related products for its Sustainamania event. The event is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 6 at the Public Works Operations Center, located at 21233 20th Avenue SE. Vendors are asked to apply before March 27.
