LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings used a pair of two-out RBI singles and a sacrifice fly to generate three runs, and used seven pitchers to combine for a three-hit shutout of Central Kitsap in a non-league contest on Saturday.
Easton Funk’s RBI single in the first drove in Chase Ridder, Andrew Bustard’s run-scoring hit plated Funk in the fourth, and Tyler Billings’ sacrifice fly in the sixth brought home Skyler Swords for the Vikings (5-1).
Lake Stevens turned two double plays behind its pitching staff in the win over previously undefeated Central Kitsap (5-1).
