The Seahawks are looking at another potential replacement for Max Unger, bringing in two-time Pro Bowl center Chris Myers for a visit, according to multiple reports.
Myers, 33, began his career in Denver before being traded to Houstin in 2007. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2011 and 2012, and perhaps most impressive, he has started every game for eight straight seasons.
Seattle has a void at center having traded Max Unger to New Orleans as part of the deal that sent Jimmy Graham to the Seahawks. In-house options include Patrick Lewis, as well as free agent Stephen Schilling, who is expected to re-sign soon, according to Pete Carroll. Both started multiple games last season while Unger was injured. The Seahawks also brought in former Raiders starter Stefen Wisniewski in for a visit, and he is yet to find a landing spot.
The Seahawks are expected to address their offensive line in the draft—starting left guard James Carpenter is also gone, having signed with the New York Jets in free agency—but adding a veteran like Myers would keep them from having to reach in the draft to fill an obvious need.
