TACOMA — Tacoma police say they’ve arrested three people who are responsible for hundreds of recent burglaries.
KING-TV reported that Quincy Douglas, Molly Murray and Kelly Kirgin were charged with burglary, identity theft, criminal impersonation and stealing mail.
Police say the group was responsible for hundreds of apartment and condominium burglaries and vehicle prowls in the Old Town and Stadium districts.
Police say they broke in to steal rent checks and master key rings. They are accused of using the keys to access residents’ homes and mailboxes.
Stolen items included personal documents, tax returns, credit cards, checks, driver’s licenses and bank statements.
Detectives say they have identified more than 50 victims and recovered hundreds of stolen personal items and documents.
