Moss Adams names new partner-in-charge in Everett

Moss Adams announced the elevation of five partners to partner-in-charge, including Rob Grannum, the new partner-in-charge of the Everett office. Grannum will champion client service and business development in the Everett marketplace. This change allows Jeff Green, the former partner-in-charge, to focus his efforts on further developing the firm’s financial institutions practice.

Program aims to help businesses avoid layoffs

Speakers from the Employment Security Department’s Shared Work program will join members of the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce to present information about how the program can prevent layoffs and keep skilled staff when business slows. The event is at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Medallion Hotel in Arlington. Cost is $15 including lunch. Registration is required.

Red Cross, Premera to host free CPR training

The American Red Cross and Premera Blue Cross have teamed up to host Save-a-Life Saturday 2015, a hands-only CPR training event that is free to the public. The event still has openings at the 8 and 9 a.m. sessions Saturday at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Participants can register online at redcross.org/savealifesaturday2015 or by phone at 425-740-2323.
