Potholes Reservoir has offered top perch and walleye fishing for a month now, and with warmer water temperatures and the spawn in full swing, action has gotten even better. Rob Harbin of the MarDon Resort tackle shop said the walleye bite, especially, should be great from now until July.
Walleye fishermen are trolling the Crab Creek and Lind Coulee areas with Smiley Blades and worms on a Slow Death hook, Harbin said, while others continue blade-bait jigging in 20 to 40 feet of water
