Thank you Everett, Everett School District and Snohomish County Executive John Lovick. It is an official protocol when local American Filipinos Community Leaders were given the task of paving the road to success for 18,000 American Filipino residents of Snohomish County, and the visit of Philippine Consul General and representatives of his office from San Francisco. It was a success indeed.
And we feel very proud that within a period of four days in Everett area, visitors from as far as Canada did spend time and money in Everett. The working core group of the coalitions of American Filipino Community Leaders expresses their thanks to Snohomish County Executive John Lovick for taking some of his personal time to facilitate the fantastic venue at the Everett School District Resource Center when we failed to find one in Lynnwood. Also, Mr. and Mrs. Ellen and Eddie Abellera’s leadership, with Mr. and Mrs. Tony Porciuncula, created a team of young leaders: Roly, Endo, Edgar, Rafa, Athena and Marie. Calculated and tempered guidance from active seniors Alice, Perla and Consuelo, to all of them, Snohomish County residents says thanks.
