LYNNWOOD — A construction worker is expected to survive a three-story fall Tuesday near Lynnwood.
The accident was reported about noon near the intersection of 165th Place SW and 54th Ave W., said Leslie Hynes, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was on the roof of a house in a new development, Hynes said. He fell 20 feet, landed on boards on the ground, then slid off those and fell another 10 feet into a hole dug for another house’s foundation, she said.
He was conscious when he was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The state Department of Labor and Industries was notified and was investigating late Tuesday.
