A number of local events celebrate Seattle Beer Week

The seventh annual Seattle Beer Week starts Thursday and runs through May 17 at locations around the Puget Sound, including a number of spots in Snohomish County.

Brewed by Bremerton’s Silver City Brewing, Sieben Brau (7th Brew) is the offical beer of Seattle Beer Week. A crisp and bright lager, it’s a merger of traditional German ingredients and Northwest hopping process.

In conjunction with Seattle Beer Week, some local brewers are getting together for a tap takeover at Whitewall Brewing in Marysville. Brewers from In The Shadow Brewing, At Large Brewing and Sno Town Brewing will bring their beers to Whitewall at 4 p.m. on May 7 and 8.

ITS is bringing its IPA and Honey Basil Lemon Blonde Ale. At Large is bringing its IPA and possibly its Bonnie session IPA.
