TACOMA — The Tacoma Fire Department is battling a blaze at the U.S. Oil and Refining Company that is sending plumes of black smoke into the sky at the Port of Tacoma.
KIRO TV reports that the firefighters are maintaining a 600-foot collapse zone around the smoke stack that is burning.
News reports say that no injuries have been reported, and no one is reported to be in immediate danger.
