OAK HARBOR — Meadowdale exploded for 13 runs against Oak Harbor on Saturday in an opening-round game of the Class 3A Northwest District Baseball Tournament.
The Mavericks blew open a close contest by scoring nine runs in the top of the seventh inning.
Dakota Barlement led the offense for the Mavericks, going 4-for-5 with two singles, a double, a triple and three RBI. Garret Walsh was 2-for-2 with two doubles, and Alex Thompson went 2-for-3 with a single, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored.
