LYNNWOOD — A driver has been cited for striking a pedestrian near Lynnwood on April 27.
The woman, 38, was cited for negligent driving, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives ruled out speed, alcohol and cell phone use as factors, agency spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. The driver also had stayed at the scene and cooperated.
The victim, a 63-year-old man, remains at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He suffered head injuries. He was listed Monday in satisfactory condition.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 212th Street SW and Larch Way.
