SEATTLE — Seattle police say two burglars grabbed more than $100,000 worth of marijuana products during an overnight heist at three medical marijuana businesses.
Investigators said they believe the suspects cut power to the businesses, which included two grow operations and a laboratory, before ramming their way through a fence and squeezing through vents to get inside the complex early Monday morning.
They hacked through walls separating the businesses until they reached the lab’s freezer and then filled several bags with processed marijuana concentrates. Police say the suspects then stole an employee’s car that had been left at the complex to make their getaway.
