There’s no sorta, maybe or kinda about it.
Sorticulture is a garden arts party for the entire family.
Sure, there’s lots of things for the mom and dad gardener of the house, but kids can get their hands dirty and their faces painted. The three-day event is June 12, 13 and 14 at Everett’s Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd.
Kids can make a mosaic or learn tips from Farmer Frog how to grow a vegetable garden. They can vote on their favorite playhouse. Not only that, you can buy a raffle ticket to win a playhouse or bid in the silent action for one.
Who knows, you might even find the best thing there is furry. Everett Animal Shelter will be on hand to fix you up.
Admission is free. More at www.everettwa.org.
