BOTHELL — A 19-year-old Bothell man was arrested Monday after allegedly stabbing his grandmother.
The incident was reported around 4 a.m. when the victim, 58, reported that her grandson had attacked her with a knife while she slept at her home near the 2200 block of 196th Street SW.
The suspect, who had been living with the victim, was found after a police dog was used in a search of the area.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree attempted murder.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
