SEATTLE — A 17-year-old boy is dead after a 45-minute search ended with Seattle Fire and Rescue divers pulling him from Lake Washington.
The Seattle Times reported the boy was swimming in the 67-degree lake Sunday evening with a friend, who told authorities he tried to help but couldn’t hold on as the teen went underwater.
Lt. Harold Webb says firefighters performed CPR and took the boy to Harborview Medical Center. The hospital reported him dead late Sunday.
