FALL CITY — The Everett Merchants rallied from a 1-0 deficit late to beat the Northwest Honkers 2-1 Tuesday night.
Slugger Mark Medalia singled home John Doering from second base in the eighth inning to tie the game at 1-1. The Merchants tacked on the winning run in the ninth after a sacrifice fly to deep center by Nick Pribble scored Adrian Vela from third.
Starting pitcher Braulio Torres-Perez pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts.
The Merchants improved to 6-1 in Pacific International League play.
