Economic Alliance adds market-business development exec
Economic Alliance Snohomish County announced that Shannon McCarty has joined the organization as market and business development executive effective last week. McCarty joins Economic Alliance with more than 15 years of experience in business and community development, sales and marketing. She served the past seven years as executive director of the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce.
Bothell’s Panasonic Avionics moves location
Panasonic Avionics, which has been located in Bothell since the 1980’s, has relocated more than 400 employees from two buildings in the Canyon Park Business Park to a single building in Monte Villa Farms, also in Bothell. The firm manufactures in-flight entertainment systems found in commercial aircraft so passengers can listen to music or watch movies.
Prime Pacific released from Consent Order
Glenn Deutsch, president and CEO of Prime Pacific Financial Services, Inc. the holding company for Prime Pacific Bank, announced that the Federal Reserve Bank has released the Consent Order that the company has been operating under since 2009. Prime Pacific Bank is a full service community bank and operates branches in Lynnwood, Kenmore and Mill Creek. The bank is merging with Coastal Community Bank.
Smokey Point Distributing drivers win safety award
The open-deck/specialty drivers of Smokey Point Distributing have had their record of safety recognized with a platinum award in recognition of outstanding achievement in highway traffic safety by Great West Casualty. The company has received platinum awards from Great West Casualty seven of the last eight years and was recognized by a gold award in 2009.
Mountlake Terrace wins 2015 Vision award
Mountlake Terrace has won a 2015 Vision 2040 Award from the Puget Sound Regional Council for its Town Center Regional Stormwater Facility. The awards recognize innovative projects and programs that help ensure a sustainable future as the region grows. The Regional Stormwater Facility was built by Mountlake Terrace to support efficient redevelopment of its town center.
Trinity Lutheran offers seniors seating for fireworks show
Trinity Lutheran College in Everett is once again providing priority seating for seniors who wish to have a front row seat for the city’s Fourth of July parade. This is the seventh year the college has offered this service to local seniors. Reservations must be made by July 1 by calling Deb Wendt at 425-249-4716.
