Landau manager heads national council of engineers
Scott Woerman, Landau Associates client services director, was sworn in as the 2015-16 chair of the board at the American Council of Engineering Companies Washington spring conference in May. He has more than 16 years of experience in the environmental industry and has served as a member of the Landau Associates senior management team for the last eight years.
Marysville hosts meeting on infill development
The City of Marysville will host a community meeting from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Ave. The meeting will discuss infill development, which involves building new homes, stores or offices on currently vacant or underutilized land. Donate to Bartell’s food drive through Saturday
The Bartell’s Community Food Drive, a community partnership with Food Lifeline, runs through Saturday. Bartell Drugs locations throughout Snohomish, King and Pierce counties are accepting non-perishable food items to replenish local food banks during lean summer months. Last year’s food drive generated more than 5,400 pounds of food donations — the rough equivalent of 4,520 meals.
