EVERETT — Everett Public Schools Superintendent Gary Cohn is likely to get a small bump in salary when the school board considers his contract Tuesday.
If the school board agrees, Cohn’s three-year contract will be extended by one year to June 30, 2018.
The contract extension is on the board meeting’s consent agenda, which means it can be approved along with other items on that part of the agenda on a voice vote.
Cohn’s base pay would rise to $188,000 for the 2015-2016 school year from $187,521 for the past school year, and would rise each year of the contract by 2 percent plus the same percentage salary adjustment given by the state to certificated teachers.
Cohn’s compensation for both the last year and the coming one includes $30,825 in negotiated salary, bonuses or other incentives, bringing his total monetary compensation for the coming year to $218,825. For 2014-2015, Cohn’s total compensation was $218,346.
The terms of Cohn’s performance review was discussed in executive session.
