Arlington employees complete airport executive training
City of Arlington employees Dave Ryan and Tim Mensonides recently completed training and testing through the American Association of Airport Executives in Dallas, Texas. They earned a certified member designation, which is a professional accreditation similar to a CPA for an accountant. There are only 1,320 certified members with the association in the U.S.
Housing Hope to host work party in Snohomish
Housing Hope is hosting a volunteer work party at the Team HomeBuilding site French Creek Bluff near Snohomish to help with landscaping, trim work, painting and general cleaning of the site. Bothell contractor earns lean certification
Bothell contractor Aldrich + Associates recently became a fully lean certified organization. Lean is the practice of continuous improvement through the elimination of waste by focusing on time and improving quality. Aldrich committed all of their employees to intensive training over the course of six weeks through the Associated General Contractors of Washington.
