EVERETT — An Everett man accused of shooting three people outside a Taco Bell on June 29 is being held on $1 million bail.
Shaquille Capone Jones, 21, allegedly was upset with an employee and they argued in the parking lot at 7431 Evergreen Way. The suspect’s street name was listed as “B.G.” for “Bread-getter” in a police report.
The Everett police investigation revealed that the suspect drove a tan SUV to the Taco Bell, allegedly to sell prescription drugs.
Witnesses said the suspect called the Taco Bell worker the n-word. And Jones also allegedly called him a derogatory sexual term because he had a pink bicycle.
Police said the employee, 29, reportedly challenged the man to a fight in the parking lot.
Jones then allegedly got out of his SUV, drew a gun and fired several shots. The shots hit the Taco Bell worker, a 19-year-old man from Lake Stevens, who also works for Taco Bell, and an 18-year-old Marysville man who was a passenger in the suspect’s Cadillac.
The suspect’s friend allegedly told him: “You shot me, homie.”
None of the three victims had life-threatening injuries.
