What: Rose “Dream Come True”
An All American Rose Selection Winner in 2008, this vigorous grandiflora is a true golden color edged with ruby. A sumptuous long-stemmed beauty, it is continually in bloom, and its coloration creates a spectacular multicolored display. Its disease resistance is among the best in its class. “Dream Come True” is only mildly fragrant, but this is quickly forgiven when one admires the rainbow of color on this shrub.
Sun or shade: Needs 4 to 6 hours of full sun.
Size: Mature height is 7 feet tall with a 4-foot spread.
See it: In the Rose Garden at the WSU Snohomish County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at Jennings Memorial Park, 6915 Armar Road, Marysville.
