Videos have been circulating the Internet claiming Planned Parenthood sells fetal “body parts” for profit, supposedly offering hard evidence of this serious crime. I am a Planned Parenthood patient and volunteer, so imagine my relief when I watched the video to find that not only is the hidden camera footage obviously heavily edited, there isn’t one actual shred of proof. Credible news sources confirm these are baseless accusations. This is propaganda being promoted by a shady group with thinly veiled intentions to defund Planned Parenthood and outlaw life-saving medical treatment for women, which would be truly devastating for poor women in particular. Planned Parenthood has no shadow intentions, no need for hidden political agendas — their mission is simple: Care. No matter what. That’s why I am proud to stand with Planned Parenthood.
