SEATTLE — A man accused of killing three men he managed at a Seattle flower warehouse has been found guilty of murder.
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that Alberto Avila-Cardenas, 40, has been convicted in the 2010 deaths of Jesus Bejar-Avila, 25; Yazmani Quezada-Ortiz, 26; and Cristian Alberto Rangel, 19.
King County prosecutors alleged that Avila-Cardenas and two accomplices had kidnapped the three men as they were working, drove them to a Kent tree farm and shot each in the head.
The bodies of the three men were discovered at the nursery in March 2011.
Investigators found Rangel’s blood on a gun during a search of Avila-Cardenas’ home. Avila-Cardenas initially told detectives he didn’t know about the dead men.
He faces up to 95 years in prison.
