Everett skincare business celebrates first anniversary

Grove and Kane Skin Solutions, at 520 128th St., Suite A6 in Everett, will celebrate its first anniversary with a party from noon to 4 p.m. on Aug. 15. The business has also won a national contest from Mind Body scheduling software under the Starting Strong category. The company was launched by 23-year-old Karen Olsoy. Grove and Kane Skin Solutions offers skin treatments and skincare products.

Hotels see increase in occupancy in June

Snohomish County hotels continued in an upward trend in June, according to the Smith Travel Research Report. Occupancy, average daily rate and revenue per available room all increased. Overall demand was up 10.4 percent and revenue saw a significant increase of 20.7 percent. Year-to-date, demand is up 2.8 percent while revenue is up 8.2 percent.
