DARRINGTON — The 15th Summer Meltdown music festival begins Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater, but it’s not too late to get tickets.
The headliners include STS9, Iration, Tycho, Greensky Bluegrass and Galactic.
Regional acts include the Meltdown’s own Flowmotion, Fruition from Portland, Polecat from Bellingham, and Eldridge Gravy, Theoretics, Tubaluba and The Warren G Hardings, all from Seattle.
New this year at the festival are partnerships with local businesses to present the best the Darrington area has to offer in guided river rafting, rock climbing, horseback riding and more.
Tickets for the festival are available at summermeltdownfest.com/summer-meltdown-tickets. You can buy single-day tickets are weekend passes that include camping. Children age 8 and younger attend free, and there are many activities at the festival for children.
