Campaign issues:
I won’t tolerate intrusion or attacks.
Hear ye! Hear ye! All political candidates.
Let it be known that if you call my home and intrude on my right to privacy, I will not vote for you.
If you, or your campaign workers come to my door, I will not vote for you.
Let it be known that if you participate in attack ads, I will not vote for you.
I will, however, attend meetings, read the voter’s pamphlet or go online to do whatever I can to make informed decisions regarding the best interests of the citizens of our county, state and country.
Mudslinging and artful campaign video edits will not work with most concerned voters who can think for themselves.
I’m not satisfied with our current method of voting and deciding one party over another, but I still have my right to vote and I will proudly exercise it. I hope we can change this direction of voter complacency and that we will have better educated voter participation. If we don’t, we won’t have anyone but ourselves to blame for “history repeating itself.”
