Regarding the response to the letter about Planned Parenthood, “Abortion agenda is the real issue” in Friday’s Herald, I wasn’t aware that there are qualifications that must be met before one is entitled to voice an opinion concerning the subject of abortion. According to the writer, “old guys” and people who have not adopted children should not speak on the issue. Really? It seems to me that the only criteria necessary to speak your mind on abortion (or any subject for that matter) would be that you are a human being. Age, gender, or whether or not you have adopted children are irrelevant.
