EVERETT — A six-inch water main broke in Everett’s South Forest Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
The break occurred at 46th Street SE and Grand Avenue, and the city received several calls reporting low water pressure higher up the hill, including from the spray park in Forest Park, said city Public Works spokeswoman Marla Carter.
Two businesses, Mikie’s Drive Thru restaurant and a car-rental business, had their water shut off so crews could make the repairs, Carter said.
There was some flooding reported near the break and potential property damage to two homes, Carter said.
Grand Avenue was to be closed until at least early Wednesday morning so the main could be repaired, she said.
