VANCOUVER — Sean Hurley’s RBI-double in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Vancouver Canadians to a 7-6 victory over the Everett AquaSox in a Northwest League baseball game on Tuesday night.
AquaSox shortstop Drew Jackson was 2-for-4, raising his league-leading average to .395 and extending his hitting streak to 17 games. Jackson also stole two bases, increasing his league-leading total to 34.
Corey Simpson hit a two-run double and Alex Jackson hit a two-run home run as Everett took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.
Vancouver took a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the fifth and the game was tied 6-6 after six innings, setting the stage for Hurley’s walk-off heroics.
